Description

CANCEL SOLICITATION - Under the Provisions of FAR 14.209(a)(2) this solicitation is CANCELLED in its entirety. NO AWARD shall be made under this solicitation number VA-243-11-IB-0418 'Site Prep Toshiba Radiology CT Suite 630A4-CSI-103.' The cancellation is necessary because it has been determined, it would be more beneficial and economical to the government, to have the new CT scan in the OPC building, rather than the intended location for a number of reasons: 1) no need to relocate any existing radiology rooms or add additional shielding; 2) the current 3rd floor radiology is congested and lacks sufficient storage space; and 3) no requirement to relocate the existing chest x-ray.
