Description

DataPower Database Administration Support Services The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Austin Information Technology Center (AITC), Identity Access Management (IAM) project has a very complex identity management system based on IBM DataPower XS40 and XI50 devices. IAM requires dedicated, full time IBM DataPower XS40 and XI50 administrators with expert level knowledge of IBM DataPower solutions. AITC currently does not have the IBM DataPower XS40 and XI50 device administration skill set available. After this acquisition, IAM will have dedicated resources to quickly address IAM IBM DataPower issues. This acquisition has been set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and will be solicited on the General Services Administration's (GSA) Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The VETS GWAC was awarded as a small business set-aside contract for SDVO small technology firms as a result of Executive Order 13360 which was designed to strengthen federal contracting opportunities for SDVO firms. Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 5.3, Synopses of Contract Awards, Subsection 5.301, General, all contract actions expected to be $25,000 or more shall be reported in the Forecast of Contracting Opportunities (FCO) maintained by the VA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). No responses are requested from this FBO posting.
