- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITIATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EE133E-11-RQ-0992. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. This procurement is a total small business set aside. The FSC for this is 6030 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220, small business standard is 750 employees or below. The NOAA, Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station, (WCDAS) 35663 Chincoteague Road, Wallops Island, Virginia, has a requirement for the following item(s): EMCORE/ORTEL Fiber Optic Receiver(s) Item 01: Sixty-eight (68) each Emcore Model 10481B-FA, Receiver The required delivery is eight (8) weeks after receipt of order. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to WCDAS, 35663 Chincoteague Road, Wallops Island, VA 23337. The following provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and any resulting purchase order. The resulting purchase order will be negotiated on a firm fixed-price bases. In order to comply with the debt collection improvement act of 1966, ALL CONTRACTORS must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for an award of a federal contract. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and PROVIDE WITH QUOTE their nine digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number.
