- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Kevin Griffith Public Health Consulting, 812 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521, for continuation of consulting services during ongoing studies of plague that are underway in Uganda. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source will satisfy the Agency's requirements because this is the only individual who has participated in this capacity since the studies commenced with current, required detailed knowledge of study protocols, clinic sites in Uganda, methods of drug procurement in Uganda, documentation requirements of the Ugandan Institutional Review Boards, and complex databases created specifically for the projects. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
