- ***CUSTOMER RESPONSES TO VENDOR QUESTIONS*** Q. 1. The NSN numbers that have NSL in them, what does that mean? 2. Under Station Support Kit: Cylinder and Valve assembly - do they want a replacement kit? 3. Under Station Support Kit: Face Piece MSA Firehawk - do they want a replacement kit? 4. Need sizes S,M,L. 5. And this comes either PUSH TO CONNECT or SLIDE TO CONNECT. 6. If it is less expensive to purchase a whole new unit instead of replacements #2 and # 3, is this acceptable? 7. The items appear to be classified w/ like items, they use the term kit.do they want a storage box that will accommodate each group or kit? A. I was informed that NSL stands for No Stock Listed..meaning the item can be purchased locally. For questions 2 and 3, we are not requesting a replacement kit; we are requesting a new unit. For the Fire Piece MSA Firehawk we are requesting S, M, L..push to connect. (one of each). Lastly, we are not requesting a storage box for the equipment.
