- COVER MEMO RFQP05101100026 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Anthony, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQP05101100026 for the requirements of subsistence related items. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, the NAICS code for this requirement is 424410; the small business size standard for this Government procurement is 100 employees. Delivery dates will begin September 21, 2011 and end October 19, 2011. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, 8500 Doniphan Drive, Anthony, Texas 79821. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. Faith based and Community based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or after September 13, 2011. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 16, 2011. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) if the total amount awarded exceeds $30,000.00, otherwise payment will be made using the Government Purchase Card. All offerors must be registered in CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representation and certifications via the On Line Representation and Certification Applications (ORCA) at http://orca/bpn.gov.
