Description

The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of NAVAL HEALTH CLINIC-PAX RIVER intends to award a sole source procurement to XEROX for LEASED COPIERS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Xerox is the only company that can provide services at this time due to CAC accessibility. Currently the Health Clinic is using Xerox services and is in need to continue services and supplies without delay or interruption. Xerox copiers provide scanning capabilities to the Naval Health Clinic email accounts for the staff and CAC card security measures that were implemented to the clinic security needs. Award will be made using SAP.
