- Description
- NASA/GSFC Innovative Partnership Program Office (IPP) has a requirement for supportservices for implementation of a public outreach contest. The contest will be open to thepublic and targeted towards children. IPP will be required to conduct the contest that iscompliant with the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Privacy Vaults Online Inc.,(Privo)becausethey are the only company recognized by COPPA and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Janicea McCree at 301-286-9159 or Janicea.L.McCree@nasa.gov notlater than 4:30 p.m. local time on September 24, 2011.Such capabilities/qualificationswill be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct thisprocurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to competethis proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to thisnotice, is solely within the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
