- Sole Source The USDA Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Forestry Sciences Laboratory, 3200 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Dr. Richard A. Werner for data analysis and manuscript preparation related to the study of influences of climate warming on forest insect populations in boreal forest ecosystems of interior Alaska. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability and qualifications of the firm to provide these services. If no responses are received, the USDA Forest Service will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Daniels Electronics LTD.
