- Sole Source Letter The proposed contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, COSMED USA, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The specific requirement is to provide a BOD POD Body Composition Tracking System. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. However, all quotes received by 15 September 2011,1:00 pm MST, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please see attached.
