Description

The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a competitive basis: SM 5520 Workstations each of which have separate specifications as follows: two (2) SM EATX 5520 DP DDR3 SATA UIO VGA IPMI MB DUAL GIG LAN AND VGA ONBOARD IPMI ONBOARD in accordance with the specifications listed in attachment (1); two (2) SM EATX 5520 DP DDR3 SATA UIO VGA IPMI MB DUAL GIG LAN AND VGA ONBOARD IPMI ONBAORD in accordance with the specifications listed in attachment (2); two (2) SM EATX 5520 DP DDR3 SATA UIO VGA IPMI MB DUAL GIG LAN AND VGA ONBOARD IPMI ONBOARD in accordance with specifications listed in attachment (3); one (1) SM 5520 DP 5500 DDR3 SAS 7.1 1304A 2X16 MB DUAL GIG LAN AND AUDIO ONBOARD SAS CONTROLLER ONBOARD in accordance with specifications listed in attachment (4). Strict adherence to the specifications attached is imperative and must be exact for compatibility to the existing systems for which they will be used. Substitutes will not be accepted. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED IN THE ATTACHED SPECIFICATIONS UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. DFAR 252.211.7003 may be applicable to this purchase; therefore, offerors should take notice that they shall provide a unique item identifier for all delivered items for which the government ™s unit acquisition cost is $5,000.00 or more. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due September 22, 2011, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by September 23, 2011. Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to doritha.newman@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592. Email or Fax should reference Request for Quote N00178-11-Q-5010 in the subject line.
