- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract utilizing the procedures identified at FAR Subpart 13.5, test program for Certain commercial Items under sole source procedures. The requirement is to provide drop shipments of syringes to the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. The required performance period is a base year plus two one “ year options. Performance to begin 1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012. The required source is Medrad, Inc., One Medrad Drive, Indianola, Pa 15051-9759. The Provision at FAR.52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATION “ COMMERCIAL ITEMS, (MARCH 2005) ALTERNATE I (APR 2002) IS A FILL-IN AND OFFERORS MUST COMPLETE ALL APPLICABLE PORTS AND SUBMIT THE COMPLETED COPY WITH ITS QUOTE. A complete Request For Quotation (RFQ) Package will be available on or about 13 August 2011 by downloading the Documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423450. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
