- The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic, has a requirement for theprocurement of Medium Duty Equipment Racks, P/N: 72-D1-1077, quantity of14. The Government intends to issue a sole source award to A & JManufacturing Company under the authority of 10U.S.C.2304 and inaccordance with FAR 6.302-1- Only one responsible source and no othersupplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A & J ManufacturingCompany is located at 14831 Franklin Avenue, Tustin, CA 92780-7217. Theracks are manufactured by A&J Manufacturing Company and are designedspecifically for use on US Navy shipboard applications to withstand the shockthat a military vessel may experience during combat. This contract action willbe conducted IAW FAR Part 12 and 13. The applicable North American IndustryClassification Systems Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 332999-All otherMiscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing. Thissolicitation/synopsisis published for informational purposes only and is not a request forcompetitive offers. Any inquires concerning this requirement, are to besubmitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by theGovernment not to compete this proposed action based on responses to thisnotice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
