- The Department of Justice, National Security Division intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source purchase order to L3 Communications. The requirement is for 25 Secure Terminal Equipment 5810-01-546-5030. The proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will staisfy the agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than September 19, 2011 at COB.
