- RFP documents to include equipment specifications This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NRC-HQ-11-R-07-0125 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423690 with a small business size standard of $25.00M.This requirement is a total small business set aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. To respond to this request, your organization will be required to provide an offer to the NRC. Your offer must be submitted electronically via email to william.adams@nrc.gov or hardcopy in one original and one copy, no later than September 16, 2011 by 5pm EST. Offers delivered by hand, including delivery by any express mail services or special delivery services which use a courier or other person to deliver the responses in person to the NRC, should be addressed to: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Division of Contracts ATTN: William A. Adams- Mail Stop, TWB-01-B27 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 It shall be the obligation of the offeror to exercise due diligence to discover and to bring to the attention of the Contracting Officer at the earliest possible time, but no later than, 12:00 NOON LOCAL TIME, September 15, 2011, any ambiguities, discrepancies, inconsistencies, or conflicts between the SOW and other documents attached hereto or incorporated by reference herein. The deadline for questions is September 15, 2011. The answers to the questions received will be posted in the form of an amendment to the solicitation.
