- 502d contracting Squadron, Fort Sam Houston, TX has a requirement for 30 thirty (30) 96 gallon trash carts with as stencil log "HIPPA CONTAINER" for the new cosolidated towers expansion of Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). Quotes are being requested. This requirement is being solicited as "Unrestricted" to all qualified offerors. The NAICS code for this requirement is 326199, with a size standard of 500 employees. Quotes must include unit and extended price for all line items, estimated delviery/install date, Offeror Cage Code and Discount Terms, if applicable. All quotes are due no later than Wednesday, 14 September 2011 at 4:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time. All questions shall be in writing and sent via email to: connie.l.russell4.civ@mail.mil no later than Wednesday, 14 September 2011, 2:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Award will be made to the schedule holder whose offer represents the best value to the Government. A description of the supplies or services required to meet the Agency's need include the following as noted herein. Brand Name or Equal. Characteristics include: Recycling Carts (Blue) Capacity: 19 cu ft/96 gallon Dimensions: W; 27, L: 32, H: 47, D: 38 1 PIECE MOLDED CONSTRUCTION Constructed of high impact, tinted, heavy duty, class II fire retardant fiberglass Molded in one piece with no joint, laps or seams Rubber bumper Stanless steel push handle Meets DOT standarts Reinforced bottom Bottoms are reinforced with 5/8 inch plywood, bonded to the body and ocmpletely encapsulated in fiberglass Composite is resistant to acids, alkalis and most chemicals Finish is smooth on the inside, lightly textured and sealed with a clear coat on the outside Domed fire suppression lid Self-closing easylift, gas prop lidis attached to the truck body by a continuous, concealed steainless steel hinge Lid support is equipped with a UL listed fusible link that melts at 212 degrees allowing the lid to self-close Lid perimeter is ring with gray, non-marking rubber bumper Chrome lid lock
