- Description
- The Air Armament Center, Contracting Office, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for the purchase of video encoder replacement parts consisting of ten each video compression unit VCU700 and ten each VCM710 modules, to L-3 Communications Corporation dba Telemetry West of San Diego, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Anticipated award date is 27 September 2011. These items must be delivered to: 46 TSSQ/TSRM - F1T0DD, EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 within ninety days after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334220, small business size standard: 750 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
