Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00604-11-T-3225. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 200110819. The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. The brand name and model number of the product(s) are: Scott 4.5 45 Minute Carbor Fiber Cylinder & Vavle Assembly, #804722. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is available at www.FedBid.com. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor Contracting Department anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract and requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Scott 4.5 45 Minute Carbor Fiber Cylinder & Vavle Assembly, #804722. The NAICS code is 339113 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor Contracting Department requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: CLIN 0001, SCOTT SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus). For this solicitation, the Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor Contracting Department intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their offer using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or submit a offer on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to the website to complete their free registration.
