- Due to unanticipated delays in the acquisition of a stevedoring and related terminal services in the Port of Talamone, Italy, the Expeditionary Contracting Command, 409th Contracting Support Brigade, Theater Contracting Center intends to extend the current contract for a period of four months. The incumbent contractor is Fanciulli Egisto, Franco, & Co. SAS, Talamone, Italy under contract W912CM-08-D-7511. The period of performance of this extension of services is 01 October 2011 through 31 January 2012. The services to be provided by the contract extension of services consists of all current services offered and performed under the current contract. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals, nor a solicitation of offers. The determination of the Government to extend the services of the existing contract is to allow for completion of the follow on action by the 409th CSB, Theater Contracting Center, Kaiserslautern, Germany. The justification is made available in accordance with the local clause CCE 217-4000. Information received as a result of this notice will be provided to the 409th CSB TCC.
