- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT NOTICE of Intent to Lease Space using Other Than Full and Open Competition in Washington, DC. The United States Government intends to award a lease using other than full and open competition at 799 9th Street, NW, Washington, DC on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security/ U.S. Customs & Border Protection. This lease will be for a total of 99,408 BOMA Rentable Square Feet (BRSF) of fully serviced space for a fifteen (15) month firm term lease. DHS/CBP is currently housed in this space. DHS/CBP occupied this space pursant to a lease entered into by the United States Mint that will expire on October 31, 2011. GSA is in the process of acquiring a long-term housing solution for DHS/CBP, and this interim 15-month lease at the incumbent location will alllow time for GSA to complete the move of DHS/CBP to the new location.
