- Description
- The Department of Labor on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management intends to award a Sole Source contract to XTEC Incorporated., located in Miami, Florida for Personal Identification Verification (PIV) Cards. This action will result in a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of one year upon award date. The contractor shall purchase all materials used to produce US Department of Labor ID cards. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the required services with limited sources IAW with FAR, Part 6.302-1(c) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Contract Specialist, Mr. Ali C. Pourghassemi, pourghassemi.ali.c@dol.gov. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT September 15th at 12PM EST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that additional competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
