- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to procure maintenance support for Hewlett Packard Digital Senders from Hewlett-Packard Company located at Greenbelt, MD 20770 in support of the Naval Personnel Command in Millington, TN 38055. Maintenance support is required for the equipment currently in use at the Naval Personnel Command. The following contract line item numbers (CLINS) are being acquired: (0001) Qty 70, HP 1 year Post Warranty Next business day onsite Digital Sender 9200C and 9250C Hardware Support. The proposed procurement is being processed on an other than full and open competitive basis with Hewlett-Packard Company pursuant to section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The proposed action will result will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
