- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, New York intends to issue solicitation RFQP0211110072 for the acquisition of fresh eggs. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. Quantities are estimated and are not guaranteed. The estimated yearly quantity is approximately 46,800 dozen of size medium or larger U.S. Grade A fresh eggs, packed 30 dozen per case and delivered every other week. This solicitation is being set aside for small business. Deliveries will be made to the Institution Warehouse, Two Mile Drive, Otisville, NY 10963. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 15, 2011 and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Faith - Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 27, 2011. Payment will be made using the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required, per FAR 52.212-3, to complete their representations and certifications via the On-Line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
