- SECTION A - CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53, effective 4 August 2011. The principal North American Industry Classification Code is 812332 "Industrial Launderers" with a small business size standard of $35.5 million. The SIC code is 7219 "Laundry and Garment Services, Not Elsewhere Classified"; the Product and Service Code is S209 "Laundry and DryCleaning Services." This is a second solicitation for this requirement; the original solicitation was #VA-258-11-RQ-0456, which contained a critical error. The government intends to award a IDC, Requirements with Fixed Rates contract type with a provision for an additional four option years. This will be for laundry services and lab wear (lab coats, coveralls, towels) for use in the Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center (CSPCRPCC) at the Raymond G Murphy VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. That contract will be subject to the provisions and clauses listed in the formal VA solicitation following. Estimated quantities have been supplied; however they are only estimated and subject to change. Please refer to the pages following for requirements and specifications.
