Description
DLA FY11 SRM PROJECT, REPAIR RED HILL FUEL TUNNEL PCAS SERVICES Post-Construction Award Services include but is not limited to the following: Participating in a Post-Award Kick Off Meeting; Reviewing Construction Contractor ™s design for compliance with the Design-Build Request for Proposal (DB RFP); Providing consultation on critical items during construction; Participating in partnering sessions; and Participating in Pre-Construction conferences. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541330 and the annual size standard is $4.5 million. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. The proposed contract action is for Architect-Engineer services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only MWH Americas, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302, since it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of costs to the Government that is not likely to be recovered through competition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
