Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the acquisition of the following length of service pin types: Male brass pins (no stone): 1. 5-year (300) 2. 10-year (300) 3. 15-year (325) 4. 20-year (355) 5. 25-year (100) Male brass pins with cubic zirconium: 1. 25-year, 1 stone (200) 2. 40-year, 4 stones (40) 3. 45-year, 5 stones (25) Female brass pins (no stone) 1. 5-year (150) Female brass pins with cubic zirconium: 1. 35-year, 3 stones (150) 2. 40-year, 4 stones (50) 3. 45-year, 5 stones (25) Full delivery of all items is requested to meet the delivery requirement (All or nothing). Pictures of the pins to be created are attached to this synopsis. Vendors are also requested to provide a physical sample to the Government at no additional cost to the Government. The only difference between the different genders, male and female, is that male pins have a tack pin on the back of the pin to put on a jacket lapel and the female pins have a loop at the top for wearing with a necklace. The face of the pins as shown in the attached pictures is the same for male and female. Dimensions of each pin are as follows: 5-20 year pins: 6/8 x 5/8 inches 25-45 year pins: 1 1/8 x 13/16 inches This is anticipated to be a sole source purchase order to All Ways Advertising Company, in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: --52.212-1 (June 2008), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items --52.212-3 (Aug. 2009), Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items --52.212-4 (June 2010), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items --52.212-5 (July 2010), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items The Government anticipates the award of a single firm-fixed-price purchase order based on price. All sources shall submit a quotation which will be evaluated. Responses shall be submitted electronically to michael.m.manteuffel@usdoj.gov. All respondents will be considered by this agency. The deadline for questions is Wednesday, September 13, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Quotes shall be submitted by Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. EST.
