- Request for Information (RFI) REQUIREMENT: Maintenance & Supply Support Services for 81st Regional Support Command (RSC) THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. NO SOLICITIATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. DESCRIPTION: PURPOSE: The MICC-ICO, Fort Jackson is conducting this Request for Information (RFI) as market research to determine sources with competencies and skilled labor capability to provide 81st Regional Command Maintenance Supply Support Services to support the following: The requirement is for the continue non-personal services effort to provide day to day support for the Regional Support Command Maintenance and Supply in the concentrated areas of Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), equipment maintenance (10/30), supply support, equipment storage, and warehouse operations in support of material storage and maintenance of equipment belonging to the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) and all their Commands as well as equipment stored from multiple Regional Support Command (RSC) throughout the USARC. The locations are identified in the attached Performance Work Statement. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Whatever information is provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition process for a Maintenance & Supply Support Services. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. All interested 8(a) contractors are requested to provide written response to the questions below. A response to this RFI is necessary in order to assist MICC -ICO in determining the potential levels of interest, adequate competition, market maturity and technical capabilities within the 8(a) Small Business Community to provide the required capabilities. SOURCES SOUGHT: This Sources Sought Synopsis is requesting responses to the following criteria from 8(a) small businesses under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes 811198 and 811118. REQUESTED INFORMATION: Interested vendors are requested to submit a maximum fifteen (15) page statement of their capabilities to provide services with respect to the following: a)Please describe the services offered and the company's capabilities to support the attached Performance Work Statement. b)Provide the time required to mobilize the personnel and equipment required to support these services. c)Provide the concept of operations relating to the services. RESPONSES: Responses should include the (1) business name and address; (2) name of company representative and their business title; (3) cost estimate for providing the capabilities described above; (4) SBA Business Size;(5) Cage Code; (6) Tax Identification; (7) Applicable NAICS code(s); and (8) contract vehicles available that would be available to the Government for the procurement of the product and service, to include General Service Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), or any other Government Agency contract vehicle. The responses should be in a white paper format, no longer than fifteen (15) pages in length. Address the capability questions posed above, and add one (1) appendix that consists of at least two past performances listing prior installations and deployed solutions to include Government points of contact describing the vendor's capabilities. Limit the technical questions to the central theme of the actual requirements identified. Questions for this RFI will be due to the email address identified below no later than (NLT) 14 Sept 20114 at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time. The resulting vendor submission should be a technically sound submission. Responses to this RFI are due NLT 16 Sept 2011, at 8:00 AM EDT. The response should not exceed a 5 MB e-mail limit for all items associated with the RFI response.
