- HANDHELD COMPUTER BARCODE SCANNER This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; firm-fixed price, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued by the National Archives and Records Administration, 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, MD 20740-6001. RFQ No.: NAMA-11-Q-0098 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Small Business Set-aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-53 effective August 4, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334119. The government reserves the right to make an award on the initial quote without discussions on this procurement. Award will be made to the Offeror that submits the lowest firm fixed price technically acceptable offer. REQUIREMENT/BRAND NAME OR EQUAL FOR HANDHELD COMPUTER (BARCODE SCANNERS): • CLIN 0001 - CK3B10M00E100 - Intermec CK3 Mobile Computer, data collection terminal and barcode scanner, QTY: 20. • CLIN 0002 - 1670203 -Intermec CK3 standard capacity battery pack for CK3 barcode scanner, QTY: 20. • CLIN 0003 - 871-228-001 - Intermec Single Dock for CK3 mobile computer, QTY: 20. • CLIN 0004 - 236-209-001 - Intermec USB cable USB-A to USB MICROB, USB Type A(M), QTY: 20. • CLIN 0005 - 1-974028-025 - Intermec AC power cord (US ROHS), QTY: 20. • CLIN 0006 - 851-061-208 - Intermec Universal Adapter/with Bead 12V 1.4 x 3.5 CER/ROHS for the 7XX, CK32AS and CK3X, QTY: 20. CONTRACTOR NOTE: SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS IS ATTACHED CLAUSES AND PROVISIONS: The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant fixed price purchase order: FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jun 2008); The quotations will be evaluated In accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR Subpart 13.106-2 and award will be made to the offeror that submits the lowest price technically acceptable offer; each offeror shall include a complete copy of the provisions at FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (May 2011), with the quotation.
