- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement; unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities. Task Force Med/455 EMDG requires 2 Belmont Rapid Infuser FMS 2000 120 V P/N: 903-00001 includes:IV Pole, Reservoir Holder, Support Housing Assy, Operator/Service manual and one day of training. The Rock Island Contracting Center - Reach back intends to make an award to Belmont Instrument Corporation 780 Boston Road Billerica, MA 01821. Interested parties may email Keisha.n.robinson.mil@mail.mil no later than 19 September 2011, 4 p.m. CST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to 19 September 2011, 4 p.m. CST. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
