Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0280 for the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, and materials necessary to perform inscription services on government owned headstones, markers and niche covers, in-site at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, located: 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209. The Contractor shall use covers provided by the cemetery for the purpose of this contract. This service includes all labor and materials necessary to provide: New inscriptions to government furnished blank upright marble headstones (U1). All U1 inscription work will be done in a dedicated area away from gravesites within the cemetery property. All R2 inscription work will be done at the gravesite without the headstone being removed from the grave. All marble niche cover (I1) and flat granite marker (J1) inscriptions will be done in a dedicated area away from gravesites within the cemetery property. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, terms and conditions of the contract. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard of 500 Employees is applicable. The contractor shall have twenty (10) calendar days, excluding federal holidays, as counted from the date following the day an order is sent to the contractor until the monuments are produced and made available to the cemetery for final inspection. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following descending order: 1) Price 2) Technical, 3) Past Performance. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from Federal Business Opportunities http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or around September 12, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., September 27, 2011. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at FedBizOpps.
