- Description
- The National Institutes of Health, Office of Acquisitions Station Support Simplified Acquisitions Branch on behalf of the National Eye Institute (NEI) intends to negotiate, on a non-competitive basis, with Roche Diagnostics located at 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256. This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be made pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1) and FAR 13.501 (a)(1) to use Simplified Acquisition Procedure for commercial items. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding availability and capability from qualified small business organizations to provide the services stated herein. All small business organizations ( SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, VOSB, and SDVOSB) are encouraged to respond to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this acquisition is 325411 and the size standard is 750 empl. The National Eye Institute intends to purchase the following requirements: xCelliegence system RTCA DP •- RTCA DP Plate Station and Analyzer/Cat. No. 05469759001 •- RTCA DP Workstation 1.1 with RTCA Software 1.2/Cat. No. 05454417001 •- XCelligence CIM-Plate 16, Assembly Tool/Cat. No. 05665841001 •- One Year All Inclusive Service Agreement/system No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses submitted to holleyv@od.nih.gov on or before 10:00 AM EST, Thursday, September 21, 2011. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please reference the announcement number NOI-2233526 on all correspondence submitted by email.
