- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; competitive quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.001(a). SEE EXHIBIT A: J&A. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received by the closing date of this posting will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The solicitation number is N65538-11-Q-0081, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. The associated NAICS code is 335999. This requirement is for APC MGE Galaxy 3500, 30kVA Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) to replace the existing Comet UPS, which is End Of Life (EOL). Line items are as follows: SEE EXHIBIT A. This task shall have a delivery date of 30 days after receipt of contract. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Contractors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Contractor will include completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Contractors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its quote. Clauses FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer; Central Contract Registration, DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options; apply to this solicitation. Quotes are due on 16 September 2011, by 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time, to the Naval Sea Logistics Center, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. All interested parties may submit proposals to the POC reflected above. "No telephonic responses will be accepted." Quotes may be transmitted by e-mail, faxed or mailed. All questions must be submitted, by email, no later than 14 September 2011 at 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
