- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, in support of US Naval Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan is soliciting for a firm, fixed price, supply type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Tandemloc, Inc for the manufacture of an ISO Container Cart & Towbar. Tandemloc holds proprietary rights to the required equipment and the Government currently utilizes similar items; thus, due to compatibility issues, the required items must be procured from subject contractor. Place of delivery is Tracy, CA. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 10 September 2011 with a closing date of 20 September 2011. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
