- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined Synopsis Solicitation Response Date: 15 Sept. 2011 Solicitation No: W9124R-11-T-1086 This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-53, Effective 04 August 2011 and Defense Federal Regulation Supplement (DFARs), current to DPN 20110819 (Effective 19 August 2011) Edition. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable provisions and clauses which can be accessed in full text at www.farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under Solicitation Number W9124R-11-T-1086 on a Brand Name Only basis. The manufacturer of the Brand Name being solicited is The MathWorks, Inc. 2 Apple Hill Drive, Natick, MA 01760-2098 for the renewal of existing software licenses. Matlab is currently in use and needs to remain current and up-to-date to fully function correctly. The MathWorks is the sole manufacturer of the MatLab Software and its updates. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa payment Card. Offeror shall account for any costs associated with accepting Visa payment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 512210 with a size standard of $25 million. Quotes will be evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. All quotes shall include transportation costs to USAYPG Yuma, Arizona 85365-9498. Arizona vendors are to include Arizona Privilege Tax. All responding vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of contract. Information to register in CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/(https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx). The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona is requesting quotes for the following: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity of fifty-one (51) each MATLAB Maintenance License Renewal; CLIN 0002, Quantity of fifty-one (51) each, Mapping Toolbox Maintenance; CLIN 0003, Quantity of fifty-one (51) each, Statistics Toolbox Maintenance, CLIN 0004, Quantity of one (1) each, Instrument Control Toolbox Maintenance. This RFQ closes on Wednesday, 15 September 2011 at 12:00 Noon Mountain Standard Time (MST). Responses to the RFQ shall be submitted by the closing date indicated in the CSS.
