- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67001-11-Q-0247 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Cherry Point Fire and Emergency Services, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the procurement of self-contained breathing apparatus and accessories. To be considred for award, equal products must meet the characteristies and level of quality identiied below similar to Scott Air-Paks. This is a Brand Name or Equal procurement
