- The U.S. Military Academy is looking for sources which can provide an RF Vector Signal Generator. The RF Vector Signal Generator is a general TMDE (Test, Measurement, Diagnostic Equipment) item that students use to create complex, radio-frequency electrical signals. Cadets use these created signals to evaluate communications systems. An RF vector signal generator is a special class of function generator that also enables computer-generated waveforms to be downloaded and created. This enables testing of systems with much more complex signals than the standard set created by a function generator.
