- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Teledyne RD Instruments Inc., Poway, CA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Teledyne RD Instruments Inc., is the equipment manufacturer. The requirement is for one (1) Workhorse Sentinel Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler, 6000 meter rated, 600 kHz frequency. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price with a three (3) month delivery period. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any inquires concerning this requirement is to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer.
