- This posting constitutes the United States Military Academy's (USMA) notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Industrial Controls Distributors, LLC, 1776 Bloomsbury Avenue, Asbury Park, New Jersey 07712. Industrial Controls will provide an absorption column upgrade for USMA in the estimated amount of $68,950. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. USMA selected Industrial Controls because they recently completed overhauls of distillation and evaporation processes which required a considerable amount of customization. The overhauls included custom re-wiring on each unit as well as custom programming of the control computers and computer interface software. This upgrade must allow for interchangeability of parts, software and troubleshooting techniques and data between the systems. All three units must be capable of network communication using common monitoring software and architecture. The applicable NAICS code is 339111. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the designated representative. Responses to this notice must be received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this notice via e-mail to karen.finley@usma.edu. See Numbered Note 22. Insert 3 days in lieu of 45 days in Note 22. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, upon receipt of response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
