- The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis under authority of FAR 6.302-1 the following: renewal of Internet data information subscriptions for their technical library in support of the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), in Jacksonville, FL. These subscriptions are provided through the Internet and include all military/government and industry (non-government) standards, documents, directives, vendor catalogs and logistics information. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. This requirement is sole sourced to Information Handling Services, Englewood, Colorado. Period of performance shall be from 1 Oct 2011 through 30 Sep 2012. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any firms believing they can provide the services may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data and without causing programmatic hardship to the program. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information provided.
