- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Knox is conducting market research for the following requirement: Substance Abuse Prevention Mission Operations Support for the Army Center for Substance Abuse Programs, Fort Knox, KY The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of contractors who can support this requirement as a prime contractor. Services would include, but are not limited to: - Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Prevention Training efforts which include course development and training of personnel in all areas of the ASAP, development of social marketing materials, and other prevention services. - Substance Abuse Prevention strategic planning and resource management. - The design of creative marketing, advertising, promotional materials and visuals that provide quality awareness for the overall Army substance abuse prevention effort. - Analysis of the Army's Risk Reduction Program (RRP) and applying RRP data to current and future ASAP prevention strategies and initiatives. - Analysis of suicide prevention, risk reduction, and substance abuse program data at United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and applying to current and future prevention strategies and initiatives. This announcement is not a request for proposal. It is a market research tool being used to determine procurement strategy. Appropriate procurement strategy will be determined after consideration of industry response to this sources sought announcement. The government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. Responses to this announcement should be e-mailed to erin.quinn@us.army.mil no later than 2:00pm, 19 September 2011, and should include the following: 1. A statement of interest in this requirement. 2. A synopsis of the contractor's capabilities, past performance and experience information, including contacts, for contracts similar to the services listed above. 3. Company size: Small or large, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, Woman-owned, Service disabled veteran-owned. 4. Contact information, to include name, e-mail address, phone number, and fax number. 5. Teaming Arrangements: Anticipated teaming arrangements (delineate between work accomplished by prime and work accomplished by teaming partners)
