- The purposes of this amendment are to 1) answer questions from industry and 2) extend the response date for submission of quotations. As a result, the solicitation is amended as follows: 1) The following responds to questions from industry: Question 1) Are the required power supplies intended to be current sources or voltage sources? Answer 1) Current sources (implied in specification 1) Question 2) Are the Amperes given in the table the maximum current output? Answer 2) It is for maximum output (Generally implied industrial specification for power supplies) Question 3) What is the minimum current required? We assume the number given is for maximum? Answer 3) Minimum is 10ppm of maximum or 0 through the disconnect (see specification 4) Question 4) Can you provide an explanation of "continuous" polarity? Answer 4) Can provide both positive and negative current without switching the polarity switch (see specification 3) 2) The response date for submission of quotations is hereby extended to September 16, 2011 @ 12:00 pm Eastern.
