- Solicitation Solicitation Summary The Office of Naval Research (ONR) has a need for a component inspection system (known as a Measurement Technology System (MTS)) that will perform automated (or semi-automated) inspection of castings for dimensional accuracy, surface defects and machining irregularities; typically performed during all phases of foundry and propeller manufacturing operations. ATI requests a Cost-plus-award-fee (CPAF) proposal for Phase 1 of the subject project in support of the ONR Center for Naval Shipbuilding Technology (CNST). Sub­mission of a response to this Request for Proposal (RFP) is entirely voluntary and any and all costs of participation in this process will be the complete responsibility of the respondent.
