- U.S. GOVERNMENT NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION The United States Government currently occupies 14,540 rentable square feet fully serviced in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The General Services Administration (GSA) plans to negotiate a succeeding lease for 14,540 rentable square feet based on economic, mission, and other factors. The Government will relocate only if consideration of economic and other factors is supportive. Other factors include, but are not limited to the following: the cost of relocation, tenant improvements, relocation or replacement of communications, and quality of space. State: Florida City: Fort Lauderdale Delineated Area: North: I-595/Port Everglades Pkwy South: Griffin Road East = US 1/S. Federal Hwy West = I-95 Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 12,525 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 14,540 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Reserved): 10 Parking Spaces (Other): At least 50 spaces available for employees and visitors Full Term: 10 years or 120 months Firm Term: 5 years or 60 months Option Term: Options will be considered Additional Requirements: To be addressed in the request for lease proposals Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain.
