- This solicitation is being issued as a sole-source, firm fixed price contract under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Requirements on an all or none basis to Mettler-Toledo, Inc. Equipment upgrade is required at approximately 100 Defense Commissary Agency stores located throughout the continental United States. The RFP will be posted on the FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors may obtain a copy of the solicitation at this site. The NAICS code is 811219 Business Size Standard is $6.5 million for this requirement. Responsible, interested parties may identify their interest by submitting relevant information in response to this notice in writing, which should include a capability statement to show experience in providing upgrades of Mettler-Toledo Brand meat wrapping systems and the ability to obtain software for upgrades. Firms may submit a capability statement within ten (10) calendar days of publication of this notice. A determination not to complete this requirement is entirely at the discretion of the Government. By submission of required information, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
