- THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. The requirement is for hardware, software, and technical support necessary to meet the Computer Network Defense (CND) mission. This is a sole source action directed to GTSI, the incumbent. The period of performance for this action is one year. The NAICS code is 541513. The requirement is for an extension of support services to provide sustainment of capacity and capability to NCDOC SDIS system. It has been determined that a lapse in service by GTSI would be harmful to CND ™s mission and to National Security. No other source can provide the necessary service and accommodate the start date of 01 October 2011. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 251, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1.
