- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs proposes to contract for courier services at the (MVAHCS) Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The contractor shall transport items to and from numerous locations listed under the "Schedule of Items" in the solicitation. The base year performance period will be award date through September, 30, 2012 with four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the government's discretion-Option 1, October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013; Option 2, October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014; Option 3, October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015; and Option 4, October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. This solicitation is an RFP set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.. All qualified offerors are invited to provide a proposal. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency, and satisfactory past performance, as outlined in the Evaluation Factors in the solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about August 30, 2011 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing. They may be sent by email to: timothy.wilson@va.gov. No telephonic inquiries will be accepted. Proposals must be signed and submitted in writing by September 16 2011 at 3:00 p.m. CST; be in accordance with the solicitation instructions outlined in the solicitation; and be timely. No web based proposals or faxes will be accepted. The NACIS code assigned to this procurement will be 492110 with an employee size standard of 1,500 employees. This Amendment is to add another location/stop MVAHCS Courier Services, this location needs to start on November 14th, 2011. On the 14th they Courier needs to arrive at the Northwest Metro CBOC, by 1530 hrs to collect keys and get the layout with the Charge Nurse, then the daily pick-up will be after 1630 hours. This location was added to the base year CLIN 002#10. and all option years CLIN 2002#10, CLIN 3002 #10, CLIN 4002 #10, CLIN 5002 #10.
