- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSONS OF INTEREST The United States Government currently occupies approximately 3,807 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet of contiguous office space and twelve (12) structured parking spaces under a soon to be expired lease in Portland, ME. The Government is considering a competition for alternative office space of 3,807 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet and will relocate if a consideration of the economics and other factors involved are supportive. The cost of moving, tenant improvements, and the occupant agency's mission, among other items, will be considered in evaluating the alternatives. State: Maine City: Portland Delineated Area: North: Interstate 295 South: Commercial Street (Route 1A) East: Franklin Arterial West: Forest Ave. & State St. (Route 77) Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 3,807 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 3,997 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 12 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 12 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 5 years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: N/A Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully-serviced. Offered space shall not be located in the 100-year flood plain.
