- A Request for Information (NNS11200000R) was posted on NAIS on August 15, 2011.The NASA/SSC Office of Procurement intends to issue a Best Value Request for Proposal(RFP) for the manufacture and delivery of 14 Platinum Resistance Temperature Detectors(PRTDs) in Accordance with Specifications 200GT-GF07, Rev 1, dated July 15, 2011. Thework for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to the following: providing Five (5) PRTDs 4 in length, Two (2) PRTDs 6 in length, Two (2) PRTDs 6-5/8 in length,Five (5) PRTDs 8-1/2 in length and Calibration at LHE, LN2, and ice points. FOB isdestination. It is anticipated that only one award will be made for this requirement, and anyresulting award shall be made in the form of a Fixed Firm Price Contract. The estimatedperiod of performance for deliveries of the PRTDs is 28 weeks from the effective date ofcontract award. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334513 and 500, respectively. All responsiblesources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. The evaluation factors for this procurement are in development and will likely includeTechnical Compliance, Schedule, Past Performance, and Price. The Government reserves the exclusive right to award to other than the low offeror onthis 'Best Value' procurement. The anticipated release date of this RFP is on or about September 12, 2011 with responsesdue NLT 3:00 PM, September 19, 2011. All questions regarding this acquisition shall be submitted in writing to this office, inaccordance with the instructions provided in the RFP, not later than September 15, 2011.
