Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a single source requirement of the Actuate Business Intelligence and Reporting Platform, consisting of software, licensing, and support/maintenance for development and production Business Intelligence (BI) environments. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate with Actuate Corporation, San Mateo, California, in accordance with Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a request for proposals. Actuate Corporation is the owner and developer of the Actuate Business Intelligence and Reporting Platform consisting of the above mentioned environments. These environments will allow developers to produce and publish web-based reports and management dashboards from a variety of data sources. Actuate was the only tool evaluated that met all eight of the criteria given. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing proof of rights to use the data from Actuate. Statements that data will be obtained or that licenses, specifications, or drawings will be developed are not acceptable. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA. Mark responses to this market survey with Market Survey File 11-08235, to arrive by September 16, 2011. Email responses are permitted at diana.pickel@faa.gov. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this market survey. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This market survey shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these items. Responders to this market survey may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial submittal.
