- Description
- Synopsis: Hurlburt Field AFB, FL, intends to make a single award for MESS ATTENDANT SERVICES (FULL FOOD SERVICE/BUFFET STYLE SERVICE), with a period of performance 1 December 2011 thru 30 November 2012; with three option years. Work consists of, but is not limited to, providing all personnel, management, tools, supplies, labor and supervision necessary to perform mess attendant services IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This acquisition is being offered for competition to eligible 8(a) small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 722310, and Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 5812. The Size Standard for NAICS 722310 is $35.5M. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:(1) TECHNICAL, (2) PAST PERFORMANCE, and (3) PRICE. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 28 September 2011. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (May 2011) - Commercial Items applies to this Request for Proposal and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal or indicate (with DUNS Number) that current information is available on the federal government website ORCA ( https://orca.bpn.gov/ ) Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Additionally, the offeror shall comply with the DFARS clause at 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports (Mar 2008).
